Favorite Hair Products of the Month

If I don't include a hydrating or protective cream in my hair care routine, I pay for it with extremely dry hair. Because of highlighting and hard water, I have to do Malibu treatments every other week just to keep my blond hair blond. Those with blond hair and hard water know what I'm talking about! Here are some reviews on my latest favorite hair hydrating and smoothing creams, and frizz eliminators.
MOMO Anti-Frizz Protective Fluid
Davines has a collection called MOMO, MOre MOisture, made up of ultra-hydrating hair care. The line is designed specifically to moisturize and revitalize hair. I've been using the Anti-Frizz Protective Fluid before drying my hair and I really like how it makes my hair turn out. It doesn't weigh my hair down, and keeps it full and frizz-less. A little goes a long way. Made from grapefruit seed extract, the scent is sweet like grapefruit, but doesn't last too long after drying. If you're looking for a new hair moisturizer and anti-frizz serum, I would check this one out. It's going to remain a staple for me, especially throughout the Michigan humid summers. Retails at $21. Find a store that carries Davines near you.

MoroccanOil Hydrating Styling Cream
This smells soooo good. The whole line smells good, but the MoroccanOil Hydrating Styling Cream has a similar scent to men's cologne, but not as a strong, and lasts throughout the day. The orange colored cream is fairly thin, and I would use a little more of this than I would the MOMO fluid, maybe a nickel size amount. It provides a soft hold to my hair, without completely weighing it down. After blow drying, my hair is super soft but not weighed down, and still looking full. Retails at about $30 at several different online retailers and salons.

Herbal Essences Touch Me Softly
Kiss frizz away with Touch Me Softly, part of the Tousle Me Softly line of Herbal Essences. I like to use a small amount after blow drying and straightening my hair, to keep frizz away and to separate my ends and give them the 'messy' look. Retails for about $7.

S Factor Smoothing Lusterizer
I've been using this since college! First off, smells great. Second, it works great. This is a terrific straightener that won't weigh your hair down. Lately I have been purchasing my refills on Amazon, for around $11. I would shop around online. If you buy it in a salon, you'll probably pay twice as much.
