Jurlique Purely Bright Mist

I usually steer away from testing out new skincare products because my skin is so sensitive, but I received a sample of Jurlique Purely Bright Mist and was very intrigued! I have been using it for the past 2 weeks before I put my moisturizer on in the morning and am loving how it makes my skin feel and look. I can tell it helps to give my moisturizer an extra boost and my skin looks, and feels, more hydrated after using it. With the winter we've been having here in Michigan, I need all the moisture boost I can get!

Jurlique's Purely Bright Mist contains "VitaBrightKX and features Kakadu Plum, the world's richest natural fruit source of Vitamin C, and a potent blend of botanicals including Daisy to help hydrate and soften skin for a radiant glow.

I use about 2 sprays on my face and 2 on my neck and chest when I get out to he shower, wait for it to soak in, and then apply my moisturizer. The floral scent is really nice for a morning pick up me up!

Jurlique is an Australian brand that uses natural ingredients, along with natural innovations, to create their products. This is the first product I've tried from this brand and am so happy I did. I'll definitely be trying more of their products. You can buy Jurlique Purely Bright Mist on their site, Jurlique.com

Kiehl's Imperial Body Balm

Treat your skin good this winter. Snow flurries are in the forecast for my area today and tomorrow which means winter is officially here...bring on the dry skin.

I moisturize every morning after my shower. I'm constantly trying new lotions and potions, trying to find the ones that keep my skin smooth all day...
A body balm that I am extremely impressed with is Kiehl's Imperial Body Balm. This body balm looks like a huge tub of butter! It's thick, bright yellow in color, and is lightly scented (light cocoa-honeyish scent).

It's super thick and goes on smooth. It takes a few more seconds than normal lotion to rub in, but to me, that means its working extra hard. Here are some other fun facts about this balm:
  • Inspired by old-world Russian herbal remedies
  • Deeply hydrates, regenerates, and comforts extremely dry, lackluster skin
  • Accelerates cell turnover with Honey and Fruit Glycolic Acids to immediately reveal a new skin softness and radiance
  • High levels of antioxidant-rich butters help protect skin from environmental damage
An 8 oz. jar retails at $42 on Kiehls.com. It's pricey, but since it's so thick a little goes a looong way, and this whole tub could last all winter.
