China Glaze - Up & Away

I already posted about China Glaze's Spring 2010 line, Up & Away, but I had a chance to test out a few of the colors and they are so candy-licious. The colors I tried out remind me of candy heart colors, Happy Go Lucky (sunshine yellow), Something Sweet (cotton candy pink), Re-Fresh Mint (spearmint green), perfect timing for Valentine's Day.

Below I have on Re-Fresh Mint. This color is so refreshing (pun intended) and fun. It's very unique, and although I'm not a nail polish expert, I have never seen a color like this. It's the perfect intro color into spring this year. I can't wait to wear it on my toes with a white sundress.

Note: This review includes products that I received as samples, provided by the brand company or a PR rep. Please click here for more information regarding my disclaimer.

Nail Polish Break - Zoya's Exchange Program Extended!

In honor of Earth Day Zoya has extended their Polish Exchange through June. Best of all the exchange is now fully web based at http://www.zoya.com/exchange.

So if you have old nail polish bottles laying around and collecting dust, just trade them in for new Zoya Nail Polishes!

Nail Polish Break - Jet Setting Nails

I always seem to let my nails go dull when traveling. I hesitate to paint my nails before my trip becuase I don't want to pack nail polish (I've had it explode in my suitcase before) to cover chips and I definitely don't want to pack nail polish remover. So, I usually slap a clear coat on and then travel away.

It's a lot different when traveling for 2 months...my nails can't be naked for 2 months! I tried out OPI's Nic's Sticks before my trip and my world has changed! Shaped like a pen, Nic's Sticks go on surprisingly smooth and provide great coverage and color with the standard two coats. They are airport carry-on friendly and don't keep me worried about leakage in my bags. I packed two light colors, 'Are We There Yet?' (fitting for my 34 hours of travel time) and 'Feeling Girly.' Both look great by themselves or with a french manicure.I also packed ELF Nail Polish Remove Pads for quick touch ups. One pad removed all of the color from both hands. Added bonus, they have a citrus smell and don't stink up my room! Another added bonus, just like everything else at EyesLipsFace.com, they are only $1!

OPI’s Try It On Color Studio

The OPI Try It On Color Studio is open and ready to please! An exciting feature of the new www.opi.com, the Try It On Color Studio allows a visitor to see what each of the 200+ OPI Nail Lacquer shades look like on her custom skin tone and nail length.

But be careful – it can be addicting!”

For convenience, the Try It On Color Studio groups OPI Nail Lacquers by collection as well as by shade group, and includes Classics, Designer Series, SoftShades, and Brights
as well as the newest seasonal Collections.

The new www.opi.com features the latest OPI products for nails, hands, feet, and skin, plus the freshest trends in beauty and fashion. The site combines ease of use with sophisticated technology and a chic design, to deliver a user-friendly, informative online experience.
