Sponsored Post: Secret Outlast Clear Gel

True Story: I’m on my way to a client visit and I have my new black dress on. I left my hotel feeling good about my outfit, but once I got into the sunlight, I noticed deodorant white marks. No!!! Unfortunately, this is not a one time occurrence. Even when I put on deodorant after I have my dress on, I still sometimes get white marks on the fabric under my arms. So frustrating!

Within the last 7 days I’ve traveled for both work and pleasure between 3 different states. I went from 60 degree weather in Michigan to 90 degree weather in Florida. I used Secret Outlast Clear Gel all week to help keep me cool while schlepping my luggage and work tote around airports and traveling between climates. And because this deodorant is clear, I had no worries about it showing up on my clothing.

Secret Outlast definitely passed the 'no white mark' test! I received a sample in a travel approved size (1.7 oz) so I was able to pack it in my carry on (I normally don't check a bag when traveling for work). I not only loved that I didn't have to worry about white marks, but the scent of this deodorant is awesome, and provides you with 48 hours of odor and wetness protection. It's a super clean smell that lasted throughout a full day. Even in the heat of Florida I never felt self conscious about sweating too much because I knew Secret Outlast had me protected.

With Secret Outlast, you can stop doing the DEO dance (I use to do this all the time!) and you never have to worry about a bad date again (this video had me laughing out loud for awhile!).

Do you have any embarrassing deodorant white mark stories? If so, please share them below!
If you're not using Secret Outlast Clear Gel, you’ve likely experienced a White Marks Fail moment of your own. Tweet your #WhiteMarksFail at @SecretDeodorant and try Secret Outlast Clear Gel for 48 hour odor and wetness protection - and no white marks.

  • Advice Sisters Beauty, Fashion & LIfestyle WebSite: It’s really a challenge to stay fresh when sweat is literally dripping down the back of your bra, but a good deodorant can go a long way to keeping you smelling like a woman, not like livestock in a freight car. Alas, many of the deodorants have powerful chemicals that can cause irritation and rashes. Even if you’re not normally sensitive, over-use of a strong, chemical deodorant, can cause issues.

  • Kettlebell Love

Tomorrow is a big day. I'm taking a full day kettlebell certification class through the International Kettlebell & Fitness Federation (IKFF). It only took 28 years to find a sport I am passionate about. These iron bells have pushed me past what I thought was my limit and have made me a mentally and physically stronger woman!

Here are my essentials for a kick butt kettlebell workout:
     - A kettlebell! Start off light if you're new. I originally started with an 18lb bell, then 2 years later competed with a 12kg (26lbs) bell, and now I'm competing with a 16kg (35lb) bell. Took me 3 years to work up to the 16kg.
     - My Lululemon headband does a great job keeping my hair off of my face, especially during kettlebell swings.
     - Ellie.com is not only quality and functional workout gear, but also super cute. I just ordered the shorts below. And every time I wear my Ellie Peek a Boo top people go crazy over it!
     - Wristbands provide cushion for your wrists. Helps when you clean and jerk the bell!
     - I love my Under Armour shoes for lifting.

Once I have my certification I will be posting more kettlebell workouts here. Stay tuned and please let me know if you've ever used kettlebells before!

Sponsored Post - Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream & Nail Polish review

In order to get at least 8 hours of sleep at night AND make it to work on time, I try to cut down on my ‘getting ready’ time each morning by streamlining my beauty routine. I keep all of my daily makeup items on the counter or towards the front of my vanity drawer, and I keep my makeup basic: moisturizer, eyeliner/mascara, under eye cover up & blush/bronzer. Of course I use a lipgloss, but that’s applied as I’m walking out the door.

I recently tried Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream Skin Perfector SPF 30 and it is now part of my streamlined routine. Wondering what ‘BB’ stand for? I was! It stands for Beauty Balm. It’s a moisturizer, foundation and cover up all in one! It’s not like a heavy, cakey foundation, but covers more than a tinted moisturizer. Revlon’s BB Cream is light but contains heavy duty SPF and still covers blemishes.

As part of my new streamlined routine, I have started to use Revlon’s PhotoReady BB Cream over my facial moisturizer each morning. It makes my skin look more even toned and helps my blush and bronzer stay on longer. You also can’t beat the added layer of SPF it provides. I have dry and extremely sensitive skin, and I think because this cream is so hydrating, I haven't had any reactions to it. Revlon's PhotoReady BB Cream comes in Light, Light/Medium and Medium shades.

Another addition to my beauty regimen is having a fun summer color painted on my nails. I tried out Revlon nail polish in Eclectic and I'm obsessed. It's a beautiful sea green that reminds me of one of my favorite necklaces. It's pretty light so I had to use 3 coats to get full, solid coverage. I have it on my toes, too, and have been getting a ton of compliments on it!

Do you have a beauty regimen? If so, please share below! Also, use the Glam chat below to share your thoughts on using a BB cream!
Revlon believes there is more than one way for women to be seen. Revlon's heritage as a color authority and its suite of innovative products inspires women around the world to express themselves through beauty each and every day.

Inglot AMC Lipgloss and Nail Polish review

I made my first Inglot purchase this past weekend. The husband and I got rained out from the pool in Fort Lauderdale, so we took a short trip to Aventura Mall. The Inglot store caught my eye and I had to stop in.

I learned from the sales rep that Inglot, a Polish cosmetics company, has been around for 25 years, but only in the US for the last 5 years. There are only 6 store fronts in the US, and lucky me, stumbled upon of them! In case your wondering (like I was), it’s pronounced ‘in-glot,’ just how it looks.

The products and store layout reminds me a lot of MAC Cosmetics. There’s definitely no shortage of bright, fierce colors. Inglot allows you to build your own palettes, which is really cool. I was immediately drawn to the lip glosses, and went ga-ga over the AMC glosses.
I tried a few on in store and decided on shade 542. This picture does not do this gloss justice. This gloss looks great by itself, but when layered over a lipstick, more of the pearlescent colors come out, changing when viewed from different directions. Layering it over a lipstick also helps it to stay on longer.
Near the cashier was a table full of marked down items and of course, I had to get this polish that caught my eye. I’m always looking for more neutral colors that will go with several different outfits and is work appropriate. This creamy beige matte is perfect for daily wear and will pretty much compliment any color outfit I wear. It’s suppose to be matte but I applied a glossy top coat to help it last longer.
So my first impression of Inglot is a good one. I have a new favorite gloss and a new every day nail color. I’m sold! Looking forward to trying out more of their glosses and building an eye color palette that can be used for both day and night looks!

Have you tried Inglot yet? If so, what are your favorite items?
