SOUL2SOUL Faith Hill

This is a romantic, elegant and fruity floral scent. It contains nots of Georgia White Peaches, grapefruits, cucumber and sensual sandalwood. The fragrance is captured in an elegant gold and pearl white bottle.

Sparkling bouquet of crisp pear, pink peony, with middle notes of southern magnolia, jasmine and gardenia, with bottom notes of cashmere musk and vetiver. It's a very warm and feminine scent!

Faith Hill True
This scent compliments her first fragrance. It begins with top notes of citrus Japanese yuzu, followed by floral nots of gardenia, lily and sheer mimosa, ending with sandalwood and musk.

CND Shellac Black Pool & Negligee

It's been awhile since I experimented with CND Shellac layering. I wanted to paint my nails blue to support the Detroit Tigers this week in the playoffs. I did my research and found that a common CND Shellac layer is Black Pool with Negligee over top. 

It's definitely a blue! In some lights you can see the shimmer from Negligee. I love the way this turned out. CND Shellac colors never disappoint me! Check out my other CND Shellac swatches.

Future Beauty Blogger

I just have to share this picture. My niece Fiona is 4 years old and obsessed with beauty products and anything pink. She's a mini me!

She's mastered her own makeup application (specifically gloss) and loves to have her nails painted. I am constantly bribing her with lipsticks and blush. I think I have a future Lipgloss Break contributor in my family :)

Nail Polish Colors to Wear to Work

When I’m traveling for work it’s hard to match a bold nail color to several different outfits, so I’m constantly looking for a pink or nude neutral colors to paint my nails before I hit the road. Here are my ‘Splurge’ and ‘Steal’ recommendations for a soft pink nail polish that will go with everything in your work wardrobe.

Splurge

If you can splurge on a gel manicure, do it. Then you won’t have to worry about your nails chipping while traveling. My favorite Shellac color is Romantique. If you go to a reputable salon, (make sure they are CND certified) a Shellac manicure can range from $30-$70 (depending on where you live).  Make sure to keep an eye out for flash deals sites as well (Groupon, Google Offers, Living Social), they often have salon deals you can put towards a gel manicure.

Steal

Essence Colour & Go nail polish.  The color Pink Smoothie is similar to CND Shellac in Romantique. Make sure to pack this with you for touch ups. Essence on the Go retails for $1.99 at Ulta stores.

Candie's Beauty Line at Kohl's

Candie's is launching their first beauty collection at Kohl's this week. I've always been a fan of Candie's clothing. Can't wait to check out their beauty products!

Line includes their signature scent, Candie's, Luscious and Candie's Coated scents. Also included are a line of lip glosses (yay!) and nail polish. Available at Kohl's and Kohls.com.
