Giveaway Break - Miracle Skin Transformer Acne Control

I have used Miracle Transformer before and I love it. It's a great product that provides awesome coverage. Now they have a new formula, the first ever tinted complexion enhancer for acne prone skin. This could be a game changer!

This is the first acne treatment to fight what they refer to as 'pimple memory,' or recurring breakouts in the spot. I always get pimples in teh same spot, I thought it was just me! This formula includes salicylic acid, anti-mircobial peptides, marine extracts and vitamin B3. These work together to both fight and prevent future breakouts.

Similar to its regular formula, it's lightweight, oil-free, and controls shine, leaving a matte flawless finish. It comes in 5 shades: translucent, light, medium, tan and dark. You can find it at Sephora.com and at www.MiracleSkinTransformer.com. Or....you can try to win one here!

Miracle Skin Transformer

I've been crazy about tinted moisturizer with SPF this summer. I don't keep this in my beach bag, but I definitely put it on before going out in the sun. Miracle Skin Transformer is something I've never experienced before. A hydrator, enhancer and protector, all in one. I'm normally not one to fall for the 'air-brushed' look scheme, but the Skin Transformer does leave my skin pretty flawless. It reminds me of Smashbox Photo Finish, but without the breakout.

Miracle Skin has a similar texture to Smashbox's Photofinish, but it's a tinted formula. With SPF and moisturizing ingredients, I wear it by itself to give my skin a break from makeup. I usually put my moisturizer on first, and then Miracle Skin, which makes my skin super soft and gives me a matte finish. I normally use foundation for light skin, but since I have a bit of color from the summer, I used the medium color and it does a great job at covering my blemishes.

Some of the ingredients:
  • Saw Palmetto Extract
  • Passion Fruit
  • CO Enzyme Q10
  • Vitamin K & A
  • Vitamin
  • Antioxidants
  • SPF UVA/UVB
  • Ecophysalis
Comes in 4 shades:
  • Colorless
  • Light - fair and natural skin tones
  • Medium - sun kissed looked, this is the one I used
  • Tan - for darker and deeper skin tones

Makeup Break - Smashbox Sheer Focus

So far, so good! I have never used a tinted moisturizer/foundation before. Normally I'm a moisturizer and powder girl, but I decided I needed something with an SPF in it (part of my new year's resolution is to wear more SPF and take better care of skin). I was very afraid I would have a massive break out if I tried something new, but I've being using Smashbox Sheer Focus in 'Fair' for about 2.5 weeks now and it's great! It's very easy to apply and helps to even my skin out. I was afraid that I would get the 'foundation line' around my face but this blends very easily. It's a water based moisturizer, so I have to shake it up before use, and I still need to put my regular moisturizer on first (I tend to get really dry mid-day).

Sheer Focus is very lightweight, and is packed with vitamins and anti-aging peptides and contains SPF 15.

I have very sensitive skin, so I'm afraid I might jinx myself with this post and break out! So far, so good, this product is great!
