Mascara Break - SPINLASH Review

It’s not the size of the brush, it’s the motion of the potion. While all the other cosmetics companies rely on new formulas and brushes to improve their mascaras, cosmetics company, Akasha has taken its innovative new mascara, SPINLASH, a step further! Not only does SPINLASH gently rotate to remove clumps, coat and separate with every turn, it also applies a liquid line of eyeliner. It applies mascara, eyeliner, and curls your eyelashes all at the same time!

I recently tried SPINLASH and I have to say, I had my doubts at first. I used it with my Jelly Pong Pong Mascara and was very impressed! It definitely feels weird at first, and I had a bad vision of my eyelashes getting tangled in the rotating brush. It almost kind of tickles a bit. Usually I comb and curl my lashes before I put on mascara, and SPINLASH saves me this step. It not only ensures that my lashes don't clump, but gives them a soft curl and evenly applies the mascara.

I didn't try using it as an eyeliner, but SPINLASH users claim that if you hold the wand at the base of the eyelashes and pause for just a moment, before stroking upwards, and you can get a perfect coating of mascara and a flawless application of eyeliner.

I haven't tried Lancome's Oscillation Macara, but I'm sure the price point can't compare to SPINLASH. For $19.99 you get two brushes and two mascaras. You can purchase the SPINLASH on their site, SpinLash.com.

Stay tuned for my SPINLASH Giveaway!
