ABOUT LIPGLOSS BREAK
Hi there - My name is Angela Sherman and I'm the founder of Lipgloss Break - thank you so much for stopping by!
Lipgloss Break started in late December 2008. I decided to start documenting all of my fun beauty findings, instead of updating my friends and family through email and phone. The site has evolved through the years based on me discovering new 'loves'....
Winter 2009 - I moved to India for work and here started my love for travel! I try to share fun pictures of trips and traveling trips through Lipgloss Break.
Summer 2009 - Discovered Oxygen Magazine and Tosca Reno's Eat Clean Diet Cookbook...and never looked back. No more preservatives for me!
Winter 2010 - I stumbled across a gym that offered kettlebell training and I've been hooked ever since. I'm a Nationally ranked competitor!
Summer/Fall 2012 - My husband got transferred to NYC for the summer, and I wasn't about to be left behind - so I joined him on his move to the big apple. I was able to work out of my company's New York City office so it worked out well. Perfect timing too, since our stay overlapped with Fashion Week. You'll definitely notice more fashion and personal style posts after this move!
One thing that has never changed are my giveaways. The giveaways on my site are in place to help readers try new things (for free!) and to help spread the word about new products and companies.
A little more about me: I was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, MI. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2004, and in 2008, I married my best friend, Mike. We own a home together in Brighton, MI, right outside of Ann Arbor. When I'm not working at a senior account manager for an internet company in Ann Arbor, I, of course, enjoy beauty blogging, shopping, boating, visiting spas, traveling, and most of all, hanging out with friends and family.
